EN 590 gasoil, Jet A-1 and D6 fuel oil, contracted by Capitalis as principal in ARA and the US Gulf.

Your counterparty is Capitalis, not an introducing broker. Each opportunity is reviewed against a named terminal, a defined price basis and bank-to-bank payment before binding terms.

01 / Product scope

The specifications used in the initial commercial review.

Gasoil/diesel is assessed as EN 590:2013+A1:2017, 10 ppm sulphur. Jet fuel is identified explicitly as Jet A-1 to ASTM D1655 / DEF STAN 91-091. Fuel oil is assessed as D6 fuel oil, No. 6 to ASTM D396, and as RMG 380 to ISO 8217 in ARA.

Include the standard and edition, and confirm that the full property table or batch certificate is available, so Capitalis can assess fit without an avoidable second round. Supporting documents do not move through the public form.

Where the parcel warrants it, quantity and quality are determined at loading by an independent inspector, and the certificates the inspector issues are the documents presented for payment. The inspector, the governing figures and the cost split are agreed in the sale and purchase agreement. A seller’s own analysis, or a certificate for a batch that has since moved, is not accepted in place of it.

02 / Commercial basis

A named terminal, Incoterms 2020 and a price basis you can check.

Name the terminal, the Incoterms 2020 delivery basis, the quantity and the price basis, and you can check each proposed term against a published assessment. The price basis names the assessment, publication, pricing window and quotation days.

For an initial review, state the product grade, standard and edition, the quantity as a trial parcel or a monthly programme, the named terminal, the title holder, the location and the price basis to the general desk.

03 / Payment

How payment moves on each side of a Capitalis trade.

The proposed payment terms are reviewed during the initial commercial screen. Bank references are exchanged at onboarding, before binding terms.

When Capitalis buys

Capitalis pays by telegraphic transfer, MT103, against the documents named in the SPA. Where the seller requires an instrument, Capitalis’s bank issues a standby letter of credit.

When Capitalis sells

The buyer pays by MT103 against documents, or issues a standby letter of credit from its bank to Capitalis’s bank. Proof of funds follows the same bank-to-bank route.

Parcel size

Parcel size and programme are agreed per transaction; state a trial parcel, a monthly programme, or both, and they are assessed together.
